1944 steam locomotive for the AZ centennial celebration

Steam Locomotive No. 844 is the last steam locomotive built for Union Pacific Railroad. This was fun to see. I think the child in all of us would enjoy this site.

9-11-11 Hope and Liberty, alive and thriving.

 To her it is just a nice day, She gets a little flag to wave around and there are all these big flags every where, one for every victim of 9-11. She will grow to know the meaning of these one day, but today she just enjoys the colors waving in the wind on a nice warm September day. Perhaps a beautiful memory for her and her parents.
  It is a beautiful day. the fact that we can still have these beautiful moments in our lives is a testament of the our human spirit. Yes, it is a day to remember a horrible tragedy, probably the worst one ever, but when you think about it on that day they tried to take away or spirit, our freedom, our innocence. We should always remember those lost on that day, but we should also honor them by not loosing that for which they died for. Keep freedom, Hope and Innocence alive.

  Thank you to those who have and are defending these things over seas in here at home as well.
